THE MAKER CLUB IN THE COMMUNITY

Empowering our Youth through Service Learning

The Maker Club Zimbabwe's Maker Club In The Community program is a unique opportunity for students to apply their learning to real-world problems and make a difference in their communities. Through service learning, students learn to work collaboratively, solve problems, and think critically. They also develop a sense of civic responsibility and empathy for others.

The Maker Club In The Community program offers a variety of opportunities for students to get involved, including:

  • Teaching STEM workshops to students in less resourced communities

  • Building and donating educational materials to schools in need

  • Creating and maintaining online educational resources

  • Partnering with local businesses and organizations to develop and implement STEM education programs for the community.

How to get involved:

The Maker In The Community partners with Corporates, institutions and individual well-wishers to deliver our workshops to under-resourced communities. Our philosophy is to leave no child behind and we are always looking for ways and means to take our workshops to young people who may not have the opportunity to experience them.
