The Maker Club is proud to serve as the official Zimbabwe Country Partner for the FIRST LEGO League (FLL) — the world’s largest robotics and innovation program for young people.

We coordinate and develop the FIRST LEGO League program across Zimbabwe, empowering students to explore science, technology, engineering, and mathematics through hands-on robotics challenges that inspire creativity, teamwork, and problem-solving.

Globally, FIRST LEGO League engages over 670,000 participants, organized into more than 54,000 teams across 110 countries, with over 3,700 tournaments held each season.
As Zimbabwe’s national partner, The Maker Club is building a movement of young innovators ready to design, code, and create solutions that change the world.

In partnership with ZOF Africa, The Maker Club delivers hands-on Coding, Robotics, and Engineering workshops in low-resource communities across Zimbabwe — unlocking access to world-class digital education and opportunity. Through these programs, young people gain a strong foundation in coding and robotics, build a portfolio of real projects, and develop the problem-solving and critical-thinking skills that prepare them for success — whether applying to university, pursuing internships or entry-level tech roles locally, or exploring remote software engineering jobs globally.  The Maker Club together with ZOF measures and tracks each participant’s growth quantitatively and qualitatively, ensuring that every learner’s progress is visible, measurable, and impactful.
