The Maker In Schools provides facilitated STEAM ( Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Maths) literacy and higher order thinking skills development workshops for students in school.  The workshops are  held at the school either as part of the weekly school calendar or as a co-curricular club. We work with ECD, Primary and Secondary schools to provide hands-on project-based learning experiences that deliver Competence based learning aligned with curriculum and expose students to real world technology tools and concepts. ​Our workshops develop higher order thinking skills like creativity, critical thinking, problem solving which are critical components in  competence based learning, and result in improved academic performance and student engagement across the curriculum.
